We wish to have an online database in which we can store images of passports and visas. We wish your system to read using OCR technology the visas and passports. We wish to drag and drop files to the online system after which point the captured information details are placed into their relavant fields. Full description in attached file. Before awarding the project – we will want to see the OCR feature functioning therefore we will want to see a demo whereby we can upload a passport image or visa image and your demo will extract the information from the scan. If you are unable to provide this as a demo prior to being awarded the project, please don’t bid.

hi ! i have read your project requirements but i havent understand if you just want a online hosted db with a website or desktop application. anyway i am a desktop application developer and i can offer you a desktop application written in c# using the free library of emgucv as i am a emgucv ocr expert so i can make a desktop app using Emgucv and any db of your choice depending on your requirements.

Hi, I think I have the required skills for this project. I offer you to develop your application based on two technologies : - Tesseract for the OCR - MRZ Parser to decode the data from VISA / Passport (ISO/IEC 7501-1) It would decode all passport / VISA using MRZ standard (which is the most common around the world). The application would be based of Symfony Framework to make the software easily maintainable for the future. I can develop a quick proof of concept as requested. Best regards, Valentin
