Freelance Financial Analyst

Ralston is a growing consultancy firm based in London, UK and offering CFO, strategy and finance advisory to startups and SMEs. In this on-going role you will work closely with Client CFOs at fast pace, growing startups. You’ll have the freedom to take on new challenges, the guidance to advance the scope of your experience, and the flexibility to work where and when suits your schedule. Ideally we need someone with a strong attention to detail and a track record of leading successful projects. You love digging into the details to understand the bigger picture. Communication is your key asset in delivering positive shifts in company strategy and performance. You are an entrepreneur with finance acumen that hits the ground running. You are proactive and self-motivated. And of course, you will have financial modelling knowledge / experience and advanced IT skills. In addition to working with exciting brands, you’ll get to learn the ins and outs of scaling a business first hand. You’ll get to work with talented entrepreneurs and seasoned CFOs. We work remotely much of the time and you will do the same, however, we have a base in Shoreditch, so you may be required to be in London occasionally. Typical tasks are: * Creating and updating financial models * Preparation of materials for investor, board meeting and fundraising presentations * Preparing monthly reports and analyses for clients * Conduct research audits into client financials and KPIs to develop actionable insights * Assist in business development projects * Provide additional support to client CFOs on an adhoc basis
