this project is a prototype for some softwaredevelopment for a planning software.
we need to create an excel where based on certain configuration;
- type of week (simple/iso), first day of week (monday/sunday)
- the work/weekend days specification
- a list of business closing dates
- a list of holidays
available days should be highlighted in a "calendar" showing quarter, months, weeks (type ISO starting monday), days
then based on another configuration (on top of previous calcualtions/values), we need to show available days to work based on an indication of
- workschedule on a period of 1 2 3 4 weeks (indicating days that can be worked)
i.e. week 1 : M W F
week 2: T T
available days should be highlighted in a "calendar" showing quarter, months, weeks (type ISO starting monday), days
time frame should be possible for 3 years so its easy to verify if week functions work correctly at begining and end of year, as well as for leap years.
also there will need to be a set of values to show on a separate sheet, to quickly see if calcualtions are made correctly (like a set for total workdays, total weekend days that add up to total days in year)
after this is accomplished, there is a follow up project, where workable days for days, weeks, months, year .. in combination with workschedule will have to drive some other calculation
