I want to have an instrument inventory system developed; barcode scanning -- I want the system to accomplish the following: 1. Scan a barcode (maybe in an IN box) 2. Initial scan of a instrument number places DATE AND TIME “Date IN” column and counts in “Quantity IN” column in corresponding Row 3. Scan the instrument OUT - scan subtracts the number from the “Quantity IN” column and places current date/time in “DATE OUT” row. 4. In the “Quantity Remaining” row it would count how many are left “IN” and if there is one IN — box is green, if not, box is RED. 5. Also when a student checks OUT an instrument it would be ideal for there to be a place that they can type their name next to the scanning box so that it will drop their name in the "Student” column in the corresponding row. Ideally it would have a box at the top of the screen where I could scan and a button to say whether I was scanning in or scanning out an instrument; also a box to input student name when scanning out -- should save dates. Attached is a version I've worked on but it doesn't work right.
