I have a complex line diagram that was created in AutoCAD. I need the lines converted to wires and then renamed as per the textboxes above them. Then a macro needs to be written to import all of the wire attributes from an Excel spreadsheet, such as variant, connector ends, lengths, ratings etc. Everything in the drawing should be converted properly so that it can then be automatically exported back to an Excel spreadhseet and look like the original cable schedule. The whole process is to be well documented so that it can be replicated by person unfamiliar with AutoCAD.
