I would like some help to create a speadsheet to use to follow-up on clients. Our business is in the insurance industry and we need a spreadsheet to help us keep track of when and how often we follow-up on prospects and existing clients. The fields we need to keep track of in our spreadsheet is:
• Company name of client
• The month their insurance policy renews
• The Primary insurance carrier
• The Secondary insurance carrier
• The insurance broker
• The policy number
• Insurance premium amounts
• Number of lives
• Commission earned
We will then input how often we contact the client throughout the year based on the following factors:
• Number of touchpoints we select (either from 1-12). We should be able to populate the dates to contact these clients
• The number of people within a corporate client who we need to contact on their birthday
• The number of social events we select (either from 1-4). We should be able to populate the dates to schedule social events with these clients
• For the above items, the system should keep track of whether or not we have done them.
• In addition to the above, we will need to have the ability to enter a date that we need to Follow-Up on next
• The corporate clients should be separated into the following categories: Prospect, Client, No-Go, Lessons (meaning, ex-clients)
Other notes:
• The birthdays should not keep track of years and we do not want entering in data in 2020, 2021 to create errors
• There should be a way to a field to designate what type of gift to give to a client on Christmas (gift 1-6)
By entering a date, such as today's date, we need to be able to see the items that need action (ie, birthdays, social events, follow-up calls, renewals, etc)
