We are a growing provider of short-term accommodation in and around Melbourne, Australia with ambitious expansion plans over the next 6-12 months. For property owners, we offer end-to-end property setup and property management and a guaranteed above-market rental yield using our established short-term accommodation channels. For our guests, we offer beautifully furnished and competitively priced apartments for leisure and business. We’re growing strong and we need your help for us to continue to provide fast and helpful service our customers around the clock through our various online booking channels and by telephone. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual to join the business as an individual contractor and to help us expand our customer service capability by building out your own team who will provide 24/7 coverage. We are seeking one driven individual who is available on a full-time basis who is willing to work with us to recruit, lead and coach two to three other full time staff in the near future to cover approximately 730 hours per month. POSITION: Customer Service Representative (with the opportunity to transition to Customer Service Lead) SCOPE: Data-entry, omni-channel customer service (with the opportunity to transition to include team leadership and quality assurance) A DAY IN THE LIFE: Monitor and respond to new guest bookings, book check-ins and turnovers in our scheduling system, collate and save booking documentation and guests requirements, process customer payments, respond to guest enquiries, proactively follow-up outstanding requirements, send pre and post booking courtesy messages, process cancellation requests and triage enquiries to head office on an exceptions and urgency basis. REQUIREMENTS: Strong English proficiency, friendly and professional disposition, proactive and entrepreneurial nature, willingness to submit to criminal background checks and employment reference checks, high-speed internet and a suitable computer.
