Actually the pressure you need is the weight of plate devided per its area, i.e m(mass of plate in kg)*g(gravity, 9.81)/area (mm^2) which gives you Mpa. If you have ambient pressure only on one side, you should consider that too. What you really need is the flow calculations to provide such pressure in the Y height. But if you want other calculations on how to provide such pressure or how to implement it on the plate, contact me.
