We are looking for a sample WCF project in VB.NET. Eventually the WCF service will be hosted in a Windows Service on a VM inside the network. The WCF service should be able to detect other WCF services on the network from clients. A sample console client app should be created that demonstrates that the client can see one or more WCF services when they are online and that I can dynamically enter in an IP address to reach one of the other WCF services. The WCF service (at least the one in the VM) should be able to detect when the other client hosted WCF services are online and should register them in memory so that it knows it can call them when appropriate. A common call that one WCF service would make to the other would be to get data from an SQL Express instance on that same server. One possible function would be to move data from a client that has an SQL Express database to a SQL Express database on the VM that the Windows Service is running on.
