How booking currently works on our site: With the current user can make a booking online. There is a booking button on the website, when click will take you to the map page. On this page enter you zip code and based on the code we pull the time and location from the database and populate the relevant field on the booking form. The booking is basically a html form with number of js calculations and validations. The form has input box to add the bumber of units for each items. User fills the form , the cost is calculated automatically. The user fills the other personal details and submits the form. The php script captures the data and sends all the info to the customer service email. Our Requirement We now need a small CRM / data management system where booking data is captured in a database. This is comprehensive document that we want from the CRM . 1. Start with the login screen with WEBSITE logo username and password. Password should be encrypted and stored in database. We don’t want any admin panel to create users we would directly add in database 2. Two level user admin and operators .Operators can only view and modify the records. Admin can delete as well. 3. Each record will be identified with a unique [login to view URL] clicking the user can see detail data of the record. Beside edit and delete button there should be accept and reject [login to view URL] should also be a status field on the grid. All records will have 4 status viz pending , accepted ,rejected and completed. The grid can be easily filtered. 4. On clicking accept, the status would change to status and an email would be sent out to customer stating that their booking is accepted and if rejected is click, a text box would popup stating Reason for rejection. The mail would send out stating that booking is rejected and reason. 5. Similarly when new booking is made, a mail goes out to customer. Add cc email to operator as well. The mail code needs modification such that there should be accept and reject buttons in the email. Click on each button would behave as stated above in point 4. 6. We would like to have another section where there should be an input box for a date. Based on date all booking would show up on Google map so that operator / supervisor can plan the routes. You can use whatever you like Bing Map engine , Google Map API. Just a bubble showing booking based on area from the booking data with Tel Number and Name of the customer. 7. Finally we would like have small Android App. The App will talk to our server using API/ Webservice. You can use whatever suites you REST or SOAP. The app will have the logins for drivers with password. The main screen will have input field for booking numbers. The driver will enter booking id, based on the id the records will be pulled and show up. There will be PAY button at the bottom with option to pay either cash or stripe. If cash is used the status in the system will changed to completed. Notification will be sent to operator and a receipt to the customer. Formats will be sent to you later. Now if stripe is used then payment will be processed using the stripe gateway. The driver would feed the relevant details for card processing and then once the payment is through, the status will change to completed and notification will be sent to operator and receipt to [login to view URL] coding the stripe payment processing you can see the examples and tutorials here [login to view URL] 8. You are free to use your logic anywhere which would make more sense. We don’t have any technical limitation unless you are coding on LAMP framework. You are free to use any open source scripts you like.
