Hi, We have a project that needs to be started immediately to scrape approx 6000 web pages into plain text. It could be slightly more (6000 are what we have found to be indexed) so maybe consider this when you bid. The site has very predictable patterns so we are really looking to scrape everything between the <body> <h1> and </body> tag, but stripping out markup and the standard footer information. This data is not going to be used to copy someone else content and published elsewhere. It is to be used for writers research for creating unique content. It will simply save our writers many hours of time going through pages one at a time. We will shortlist the bidders who we feel understand what we need and then provide you with a detailed step by step screencast video to show you exactly what we need before we award the project. This way you will have a 100% understanding of the full scope of work and how we want the output. This task does not involved scraping search engines. You will be given the URL that needs to be scraped. We will have many more of this kind of project over the next 6-8 weeks, so it would be good if you can be available ongoing to do these projects. The task is pretty simple for an experienced scraper. Please don't bother doing automated bidding. We will filter you if you do and report you. We do need the results fast (like within 24/36 hours). Don't bid if you can't deliver in that time. When you bid, please say this as your opening subject - "I can deliver in 24/36 hours" so we know you have bothered to read the details.
