People wants to cancel a subscription if they have any issue, complaint, unhappiness about a product or think its of no use to them anymore. First and foremost cure should be to offer a resolution and fix the issue. Other than that there are several other strategies which businesses use for retention like discount on future order, coupon codes, lower price, partial refund, complimentary deals etc.
The most important of all these strategies is to let the customer feel special, let them speak out and listen to them, be bunny and put a smile on their face.
