2018 CHRISTMAS PARTY

We are hosting a Christmas party for about 50 people at our Pyrmont apartment on Saturday 1 December 2018. We are going to arrange 'finger food' ourselves. Some will be hot, some will be cold. We will do as much preparation as we can ahead of the day. There won't be any actual cooking, but the hot food will need to be heated up and put on platters. When there is nothing being warmed up you would walk the platters around. When you are keeping an eye on food being heated, we will ask guests to walk around the relevant platter. There will be continuous washing up, and cleaning up of the kitchen after the food service. We will need someone who can demonstrate experience in the kitchen, but we don't necessarily need a qualified chef or cook. We will probably need about 1½ to 2 hours of work in the kitchen. To make it worthwhile we could guarantee that there will be at least 3 hours of work - that would be on the basis that you would help with serving drinks or just otherwise help out after food service finishes. Start time will be at around 5.30pm (to be confirmed closer to the date).
