Create 10 GIS polygons for use in Illustrator and Google Maps

I want to illustrate potential boundaries for a new scheme of Australian regions by amalgamating and dividing existing regions in publicly-available data sets. I would like these in a format that I can import into Google Maps or similar for display on the web; or into Adobe Illustrator to create printed materials. There would be 10 polygons in all, of which two are unchanged from existing data sets. For the most part, they are derived from the catchment shapes in the attached image.
