Rebuilding a Game Client and Server

I'm making an official post on behalf of a project a few friends and I started a few years back. Our goal was to recreate an old Adobe Flash based Drag Racing game that shut down its servers in 2014. We have looked into multiple options of server recreation and have deemed ASP or a C# Executable server to be the way to go. The game has to be modified in kind of a strange way, as we don't have source code for the game itself. We only have the SWF files associated to the game (see screen shots below). We've been using a tool called FFDec aka JPEXS Flash Decompiler to edit the Actionscript files in order to get the game to even see our server setup, but we've been stuck for awhile on the XML Sockets with Actionscript 2 and don't understand how that works, so we're turning to freelancer. Sum Up: -- Edit the game client to work with our server. Game was originally made in Adobe Director with Shockwave and uses the Lingo server execution commands. We'd like to remove these and have it all work with sendAndLoad commands for ease of editing/updating. -- Can only edit the SWF via a tool called JPEXS Flash Decompiler as we do not have the FLA Source Code or the DIR source code files. Game client used will probably be a later release of the game to maximize the current play style available. -- IF Possible, Converting the game to a game engine like Unity3D is a possibility, but probably far more expensive and time consuming. Could be something later to be rehired for -- Server has to be created with C# or ASP, as a Stand-alone EXE that just runs and you portforward using your router for others to connect with a public server browser to select who's server to play on. Complete with customizations like starting cash, stater cars, parts for customization, etc. -- DB must be with MariaDB, a custom encrypted DB or mySqlDB.
