Hello, I am full-time freelancer with 10 years experience of VFP, C#, ASP.NET, MVC. I read your project details, I am not sure how you generate VFP report to PDF, as of my opinion VFP report is a fast other than report. Before any suggestion needs to understand how you generate. I worked on one project similar (PayAsia), They used the same things ASP.NET+VFP+SQL. We implemented VFP report export as PDF and displayed on ASP pages. Thanks, Piyush

Hello. My current offer is only for improve Excel Automation speed. The PDF generation I will offer in a separate project if this is done OK. I plan first optimize existent automation code. If no useful improvement is done then I plan to use Open XML.

Hi, I am interested. I am MCSD in .NET, having 20+ years experience in software development. I have very strong experience in different version of FoxPro/VFP (from FoxPro 2.6 dos version to VFP 9). I have developed many application using FoxPro/vfp, using several backend database - SQL Server, DB2, FoxPro, access; integrated with different reporting tools- crystal report, ssrs, stonefield, FoxPro ; different data format - excel, xml, sql server, csv, txt, hl7. I do with VFP from FoxBASE under dos until VFP 9 SP2. Until now I follow all development application technology like mobile development. Of course the .NET technology development. To make report on PDF and or excel have no problem to do this. I am familier any database like Oracle or MS Sql Server either MySQL.

We will * redo the PDF reports to work against the SQL db We wukk remove the Excel automation and instead use C# to directly generate the excel files via Open XML SDK. * Also we can use the current system and delete repeated temp files from RAM during report generation. -- Looking forward to discuss it further.
