I need a virtual webcam for windows. The webcam should behave like any other webcam and should be accessible via any other application. Also, I would need a simple programming interface (a media sink) to input my own media. The idea is to wrap another webcam within this virtual webcam. I would prefer the virtual webcam to be in C#, but vc++, c++, c or any other major programming language is also acceptable.

You need a virtual cam driver + a programming interface in C# for it. Please tell, do you have any specific requirement int the virtual driver implementation. What all APIs you require in the C# interface?(I know the basic interface, please tell if you need any specific). I am a software engineer having 14 yrs of experience in developing heterogeneous types of systems from the emmbedded system and Windows drivers to industrial automation, and business applications.

This would be a relatively straightforward project to implement and I could do it pretty quickly. If you contact me we could discuss the details. I have worked with OpenCV and other such technologies that utilize computer vision and webcams, so I have the necessary experience to complete this.
