SQL/VB/.NET/API

Dear All:

I need help with the creation of Windows application which would allow a user to:

-select a specific query (I have SQL queries ready)

-view the output

-export output into excel (I may need some help with writing some macros to adjust the output)

-run additional commands/macros if neccessary.

I have about 8 excel spreadsheets with macros which use SQL queries and API info from Bloomberg and Reuters to verify the data.

I want these 8 reports be implemented in windows based application.

I will provide 'working' macros or SQL queries where neccessary and applicable --- you need to make them work in the application.

I will provide the code from Bloomberg on API script for windows applications.

the application should have nice desktop icon and simple splash. nothing fancy, just estetic for an average eye.

please be sure you know how to "move" macros from excel to windows application.
