Draftsman - Land Surveying Processing AutoCAD dxf survey point files and producing survey plans (see examples attached) This is a full-time role 40 hours per week at an initial rate of up to $12 AUD, with an over-time rate of $18 AUD for anything beyond 40 hours. There is also the likelihood of a Christmas time bonus. When our office is on holidays or public holidays you will still be paid. We have employed freelancers for a minimum of 1 years previously & the right person will be rewarded well. There is opportunity to increase this hourly rate if you build on your initial skills with us. We have regularly given pay rises to all our employees as their skills have progressed. The applicant will be required to start work at 7.00-7.30am and finish at ~4.00pm (GMT+10) , or later, depending on over time. The applicant must have AutoCAD experience, good reading & writing English skills, and ability to learn quickly and follow & our processes closely. Experience as an engineer is an advantage but not necessary. To select a candidate we will give you access to a tutorial Google Drive folder where you will watch a video tutorial and complete: 1. practise job with the example/end product shown 2. practise job with no example Do your best work and if you can follow the instructions and complete these task you will be short-listed & or given a paid trial. I have vast experience in AutoCAD drawing, also some knowledge in Revit and Civil 3D. Besides, I have field experience doing land surveys, like taking levels or point cloud with GPS.
