#1: Foam Roller Press
As you lower the steel bar to the top of your foam roller, it cuts the range of motion into two halves. It presses the midpoint of your lift to emphasize on the ending push of bench press, or lockout.
The lockout is basically the foundation of triceps. You may even use a bigger weight on the bar to get better results. You can train really well for the bench press with the least strain on the shoulders. Here’s how you can do it:
• Lie down on the bench and then place a foam roller on the chest, length-wise
• If required, secure the roller with a resistance band
• Grab the barbell which is overhead, holding it directly above the chest
• Next lower the bar and touch the foam roller by pressing it back upwards.
