Greetings,
I am a masters's degree holder with a specialty in Sociology. My overall experience in academia has been on research projects on Caribbean history, human rights and migration patterns. In recent years I have worked as a research assistant in the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras campus in quantitative and qualitative projects, ranging from consumption patterns to gender and work studies.
In addition to that, my own academic research has been focused on the consumption patterns within the automobile industry and its effects on the actions and interactions of people. I have certifications on SPSS, PSPP and NVIVO, as well as advanced knowledge on internet and archival search and office products such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Publisher programs.
I am currently working as Associate Director in a generator sales, maintenance and service company. As the Director I have been in charge of the restructuring of the company, daily operations, data collection and statistical analysis.
My organizational skills and work ethic have always been my best traits. These skills and the commitment I have to the projects I work on, always make me look for better, more challenging ways to grow. The same level of commitment I have had in the academia and private enterprises can be expected from me on any kind of employment. I am looking forward to the opportunity of working with you.
Regards,
Ángel
