Hi! The ATMEGA4809 is also used in the Nano Every and requires a programmer IC to download the binaries from say Arduino IDE. Did your designer added the programming IC or not? If not you can use a separate board to act as programmer and connect it to your PCB so you'll be able to download your firmware into the ATMEGA4809. Hello, It is possible to program this chip from Arduino IDE. You will have to purchase the necessary programmer to program the Boot loader once. After that you can upload directly. Could you please let me know more details such as what functionality do u want to implement and send me other details, we can work. together. you may purchase Microchip PICkit4 or other UPDI programer There is some information on how to use another arduino board such as uno to program this chip
