IP Based Panic Button System

Dear Sir, I would like to present my self as prospective candidate to do your project, I have sound knowledge and experiences in electronic both analog and digital and computer programming. I have read your project description and there are several ways to complete this task. If your network is a wired one you could use Arduino with combination of Ethernet shield as button side. But if your network is wireless (WiFi) one then the best choice would be use of ESP12 or a NodeMCU. As command Center I would like to recommend a Raspberry Pi with configures Web server. Hello, It is good an cheap solution if you use Wemos (a cheap variant of arduino, about $5) which include the WiFi modules. So you will complete with button and batere which is low cost also. For server I could write the desktop apps which will collect the device information in continues mode. This will make control apps has the devices information in real time mode. There is of requirements I think we can discuss. But if you need it quick development and cheap the solution above is good enough. Let me know

Hi, this is a typical Client / Server application where the servers would be each button site and the client is the command center. Respecting this architecture, I have developed a Microserver based on PIC microcontrollers that can send to the client information about the panic button and other information that is required, for example temperature, door open closed ... etc. All development was done in CCS C and the TCP / IP stack is in source for any modification. From the command center, the connection of the sites is monitored by pinging and the variables are verified to see their status. On the client side, a desktop program can be made to monitor the sites. With the previous architecture the button sites would have to have certified IP, but doing the opposite, only the server requires a certified IP. Then the button sides are client and the command center is the server that was what you raised in your requirements. Ok We are at your service, do not hesitate to consult me ​​without obligation. When the Panic Button is pushed / input is activated, it brings up an alarm screen, and shows the location of the alarm. *** Is it on a map or is it a text with an address ** I have more than 40 years designing electronics and totally an expert with more than 20 years in: PIC, Arduino, Proteus, Altium, as well as the C and C ++ language. I work for the challenges more than for the economic push (Although this is always necessary).

I am an experienced software architect and worked with major brands and lead their teams to develop complex applications. I also have good experience of building projects with hardware component associated with it. I have an electronics background and have good hold on both software architecture and hardware. Your requirement can be achieved using Arduino UNO or CM4 depending on the future feature set you are planning to build with the product. If its a simple panic button we can go with a simpler chip with GPRS features. Rather than IP address we can configure a domain and have the device send a notification to it. The site management console can be build as a web application.

CSE engineer developed control systems most, if not all of them are proprietary, ranging from very small, with custom made control boards, Arduino, and Raspberry PI systems, to very large SCADA systems with PLC’s & HMI’s, with brands, like SIEMENS, ALAN BRADLY, ABB, LG, and many more. as a brief let me tell you that While it doesn’t matter "for such simple objective" what type of control board we use, as long as it supports TCP/IP i.e. boards like Arduino will need a SHIELD. I recommend having a local memory to store alarms\events in case of COMM LOSS Also, the destination with a fixed IP address, whether it is a “website” running a web app, or a private server, this destination will store the received EVENTS\Status from different sites. This process will need to run in the real time, in order for each site to update its status, and for the command center to respond to any change. As to the presentation of the site alarms/events we can develop a wide range, from desktop apps to web apps, all with elegant easy to understand graphics and controls. Hi There, for your project, if the panic button is to be connected over wifi I would suggest NodeMcu if you are working on breadboard and esp12f if you plan at making a pcb, as in India it will cost around $2 in India. regarding other details I have a good experience developing consumer aimed products based on IoT and cloud development, with good knowledge about various microcontrollers and their working and interfacing, with good command on full stack development please contact to discuss various details about how you need the interface should be
