Hi, I am looking for some help to migrate some services to AWS. I work for a financial services company in Sydney. We are currently migrating our Citrix Xenapp / Published desktop environment to Mac OSX desktops. Most of our apps either have native OSX apps or are cloud-based SaaS but I have about 4 windows only apps that our users will need to access. Which I was hoping to put on an AWS windows server instance. I am planning to stream those apps to the mac's using Parallels Remote Application Server (RAS). Paraellels have an AMI in the market place with RAS pre loaded. [login to view URL] I have been able to run up a server instance and successfully tested installing and streaming the apps and was happy with the results. I have an I.T background but moved into management a decade ago so don't really know my way around AWS. I am not familiar with the terminology or what product does what so I want someone with experience to make sure it is setup correctly. As far as job spec goes I want someone to: Design the infrastructure (guessing it's just the 1 machine image, static ip and some storage) Configure backup (or at least explain how the infrastructure is backed up and how I can restore) Setup security groups, firewall rules, users and secure the environment) I will install and configure the apps etc The max number of people that need to access the server is 9 but there likely won't be more than 5 concurrent users at one time. The mac's are managed separately via JAMF MDM and there is no need to sync users or any integration. Any questions let me know. thanks
