Hi, I have 9+yrs of experience in oracle core and APPS database administration,oracle database migration, upgradation,single instance and cluster configuration (ORACLE RAC), Dataguard,Golden gate ,OCI cloud,AWS RDS, AWS EC2,S3, Oracle docker container and development experience like SQL and PLSQL.I have done lot of database upgrade from oracle 12c to 18c and 19c from on premise to on premise and on premise to oracle cloud AWS RDS and EC2 using DMS and S3 bucket . In AWS, you can run database services in 2 ways: a. Managed (they generally call it RDS) - AWS manage for you, you pay for instance/replica etc b. Self managed - you spin up vm, install database software, you take backup/snapshot etc 1) What all databases can be setup on amazon AWS? >> Are you looking for relational database or document database? You have pretty much covered all in RDBMS type. Hello, Dbguru Questions 1 & 2 are easily answered by going through AWS’s platform and trying to spin up a db. Question 3, it is free yes. Question 4, Not sure but I would say it depends and the number would be within the minutes range ( we can rest though) Question 5, Sure no worries. I would charge per task.. to put a number on it, lets say $10 per database with a cap of $50 Per request Ex: you want 10 DBs, its $50.
