Hi, I’m in need of someone with knowledge in Python and Pandas to implement a complex scoring system. If you have experience with machine learning I’m sure you would be aware of March Madness in Basketball. This task is not about March Madness (It is about a certain sport but not basketball) but rather how to approach a similar problem which is to efficiently determine which team will outperform another. Essentially the task I’m asking you to complete is to rank something based on a handful of variables. I have a csv with around 5 million rows which you will use to implement a matrix factorisation or an elo type system to produce the rankings. I am an expert in statistics and probability, machine learning, linear algebra (matrix theory), regression, and Python, with a PhD degree in computational physics.
