We are a small company with a custom board based on the Texas Instruments AM3351 (similar to the BeagleBone Black). During prototype revisions we've been running with Linux kernel 4.14 kernel provided by in the TI-SDK. With 4.14 going End-Of-Life in Jan 2024, we want to migrate to Linux kernel 5.10. I have been trying to bring the board up on the latest SDK/5.10 Kernel with difficulties. Although the board boots and we have serial communication, there are issues with the peripheral devices (ethernet, pinmux gpio, etc) I attribute to DTS changes in the SDK and kernel differences.
