I have a deck the is 30’ wide and 14’ joints made of 2x8s. The beam at the end is made of qty 2 2x10s. It has 5 posts that are 6x6x9.5. I want to remove the 2nd and 4th posts leaving only the end and center posts. I need to know if it is structurally sound to cut a 6x6x14’2” to span the distance between the end and center posts and place it on top of a new 6x6 post sisters to the end post and the center post. The current beams would rest on top of the new 6x6 post. I would use standoffs on the concrete and appropriate brackets. Thanks.

I would like a design for a boat name. I am a non-professional with no experience in hiring/working with a graphic designer. I have a 2004 23ft Yamaha SR230 jet boat that I would like to name Cynthia, my wife's Name. I will include pictures and dimension showing where the name would go. The name would go on both sides of the boat so the logo/name needs to work looking at the boat from both sides, So either one design mirrored, or two designs that look similar and work within the parameters.
