Maelezo ya Shindano
I am a reliability engineering consultant. www.apexridge.com. I am starting an engineering article and video series that I would like to have a logo for. The logo will be used in blog posts, articles, presentations, and intros to short videos.
The initiative is called 'Use Case 7" It is about characterisation of how customers, and engineers, can put products through extreme abuse to improve design. The attached concept is a simple idea I put together. Examples are when you put a big load of firewood in the trunk of a honda Civic or use a power drill as a hammer. Can engineers develop tests that get these results instead of waiting for customers to do it. They are not what the designer intended but something can be learned about the product from the event. I want to encourage my engineering design customers to incorporate this concept more when developing products, i.e. extreme testing. There may be a slight comical nature to it, but that is not necessary. It could also be an overly serious nature like a warning sign. But should be simple and easily recognizable if it was seen on a banner from a distance.
