There are 40,000 homeless veterans in the United States. Beds4Vets provides the financial and logistical support necessary for communities and individuals to assist in the furnishing of a home for a homeless veteran. Existing government programs offer an empty apartment, but don't contribute anything to furnish the home (i.e. a mattress, kitchen utensils, furniture, blankets, etc). We fill this gap, ensuring that these veterans truly have a chance at a new start in life by giving them a home, not just a roof. We need a logo that conveys this message to our potential donors. This is a 100% volunteer organization with no salaries/compensation arrangements of any kind. A successful logo will be one that the thousands of volunteers that we mobilize will be proud to wear on their shirts, hats, etc. Hope, appreciation, community, and patriotism are some of the ideas that we are trying to convey in the image.
